We are tucked away in the Old Factory Area. It’s an older part of town where the buildings have some character and the roads are a bit uneven. At Mangal Machines, we’ve got a lot of heavy iron and steel around. The floor is stained with oil in places, but that’s just what happens when you work with machines all day. We spend most of our time repairing things or putting together parts for customers who have been coming to us for decades. It’s noisy when the lathes are running, and you have to shout a bit to be heard. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just walk into the workshop. There’s a small office with a heavy metal door where we keep the blueprints and the ledgers. It’s a bit dark in there, but it stays cool. Our team is small—just a few skilled guys who know how to handle a wrench and a welding torch. We don't use much automation; it's mostly manual work that requires a good eye. Sometimes parts take a while to arrive, so we have to get creative with what we have on hand. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We’ve seen the neighbors change over the years as the area gets older, but we’re still here, doing the same mechanical work we’ve always done. It isn't glamorous, but it’s what we know best and we keep at it every single day.
