Shalimar Grain Products

Shalimar Grain Products is located in the village of Aladad Pur, which is near the town of Amloh in Fatehgarh Sahib. Being in a village means we are right in the middle of the farming community. We deal with grains, so we are always watching the harvests and seeing what the local farmers are bringing in. Our facility is a large shed where we store and process the grain. It can be quite noisy when the separators are running, and there is always a bit of chaff in the air. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing department. We are just regular people who know a lot about wheat and other crops. Most of us grew up around these fields, so it feels natural to be doing this kind of work. The pace follows the seasons. During harvest time, we are here late into the night, and during the off-season, things quiet down a bit. We don't try to sound like a big company because we aren't. We just want to make sure the grain is handled right and gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the power goes out or the trucks get stuck on the mud roads after a storm, but that is just life in Aladad Pur. We take pride in the simple fact that we are part of the food chain that feeds people. It is a good, honest way to live and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep working hard.
