Prs Rolling Mills (P) Ltd. is located out on Barwala Road in Village-Kuranwala, which is part of the Mohali district. Being out in a village area means we have a bit more space, but it also means the roads can be a bit rough, especially after the monsoon season. The mill itself is a big structure and you can hear it working from quite a distance away. It’s a noisy place to be, that’s for sure. Most of the staff live nearby or in the neighboring villages around Kuranwala. We’ve been here for a long time and the building has that lived-in feel. There is iron and steel everywhere you look. The office is just a small part of the whole operation, tucked away in a corner where it's a little bit quieter than the main floor. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of getting materials in and out on the lorries. Since we are on Barwala Road, we see a lot of heavy vehicles passing through every day. It's not the kind of place you'd visit for a casual stroll or anything. It’s a working site through and through. We have a small canteen area where everyone grabs a bite and a tea during the break. There are no fancy meetings here, just quick chats on the floor to make sure everything is running okay. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we all have to pitch in to get it fixed. It’s just the way things go in a place like this.
