About M.K Verma Foundry Workshop – Metals & Minerals in Patiala
We've been at No-133 in Block B for quite some time now. Amloh Road gets pretty busy in the mornings, and we usually start early before the sun gets too hot over Sector 26. Being a foundry workshop, things get pretty dusty and loud. There’s always the smell of hot metal and sand around the place. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the guys here have been working together for years. We know the machines better than our own cars. Some days the floor is a mess with scrap and molds, but that's just how a foundry looks. People stop by because they know where we are, right there on the corner of the block. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down. It's more about the physical work. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but we try to keep it down when we can. It’s a simple setup. Just a roof, some heavy tools, and enough space to move the castings around. We’ve seen the area change a lot, but our little spot in Sector 26 stays mostly the same. I usually take my tea outside near the entrance while the furnaces are cooling down. It's not a glamorous job, but it's what we do here at M.K Verma Foundry Workshop. There's a small patch of grass nearby that gets covered in soot, but that's just life in an industrial block. Sector 26 is where we belong.
