You can find us at Johal Plaza, right across from the main bus stand in Patiala. We’re at 16-A. Being opposite the bus stand means it’s always hectic right outside our windows. There’s a constant stream of buses and people moving around, so we get a lot of walk-ins who are just passing through or waiting for a ride. The plaza is named after the same family, so it feels like a bit of a local landmark in this area. We mostly handle air travel bookings here. It involves a lot of checking screens and making sure names are spelled right on the forms. We’ve seen plenty of people come in worried about their international flights, and we just try to sort it out for them. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and our desks pushed against the walls. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. Sometimes the noise from the bus horns gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after working here for a week. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close by. If you need to catch a bus right after talking to us, it’s just a short walk across the road. We keep our hours pretty regular and consistent. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it long enough that we know the common routes people take.
