Our place is at Plot No-517 in Dashmesh Colony. We are right on the Zirakpur-Patiala Highway Road. It is a very busy spot because of all the trucks and cars moving between the cities. We are situated right behind Fouji Dhaba, which is a place many drivers and locals know well. Since we are on the highway, we deal with a lot of transport and travel requests every single day. We serve Zirakpur and also the Chandigarh area quite often. The office is pretty basic because we are usually out by the vehicles or talking to the drivers. It can get a bit dusty with all the traffic going past on the highway, but that is just part of the environment here. We have a small desk where we keep the car keys and the logbooks. Most of our work is about coordinating trips and making sure the cars are clean and ready to go for the next passenger. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, people just stand around or sit on a plastic chair for a minute before they head out on their journey. We’ve been operating in this colony for a long time and know the highway routes like the back of our hand. It’s a practical business for people who need to get somewhere without a lot of fuss. We just figure out the destination and the timing. It’s honest work and we stay busy from morning until late at night.
