H S Rice & General Mills

We have been here in Bhunarheri for quite a while now, right on Shadipur Road. H S Rice & General Mills is basically where we spend most of our days, dealing with the harvest and getting things sorted for the season. It is a whole lot of work when the rush hits. You will see the tractors coming in and out all day long, especially in the winter months. We try our best to keep the machines running smooth, but you know how it is with old gear sometimes. Someone is always fixing a belt or greasing a motor. It is mostly just us and a few helpers making sure the rice gets cleaned and bagged up right. The dust gets everywhere, honestly. You cannot really avoid it in this line of work no matter how much you sweep. People around here know where to find us if they need help with their grain. We do not do much fancy stuff, just the standard milling people expect. It is loud inside when the hullers are going, so we usually talk outside by the front gate. The road gets pretty busy during the peak months, which makes things a bit hectic for everyone involved. We have seen the village change quite a bit over the years from this spot. It is a simple setup we have, nothing too big or flashy, just enough to get the job done. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait. That is just life here.
