If you’re looking for us, we are right on the ground floor of Sco-1 in Samana, tucked in there near the Plaza Hotel. Ambedkar Chowk is always a bit chaotic with all the rickshaws and people moving about, so it’s a lively spot to be in every day. Our office isn't very large, but it’s got enough room for a couple of desks where we handle all the travel stuff. People usually drop by when they are planning a trip or need to figure out a bus route. The phone rings a lot, mostly folks asking about ticket prices or what time the next van leaves for Patiala. It gets busy in the mornings especially, with everyone trying to get their plans sorted before the day gets away from them. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and schedules on the computer screens, trying to make things fit together for whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit, which they usually don’t mind too much. It’s just part of how things go here. Opposite us, you can see the hotel and the general rush of the chowk, which never really seems to stop. We’ve been at this location for a bit now, and most of the locals know where to find us if they need to get somewhere. It’s just a regular travel office doing its daily thing.
