Sree Parameswara Vidyalayam School

Sree Parameswara Vidyalayam School is located in the Aranmula Kaipuzha area of Thumpamon. It is a quiet spot, which is nice for a school. We have been serving the local community here for quite some time. The surroundings are quite green, typical for this part of the region. Most of our students walk to school from the nearby houses or take the small buses that run through the village. The school building is simple and doesn't have any of those fancy architectural features you see in the city. We have a few blocks of classrooms and a small office where we keep all the records in big steel cupboards. The mornings usually start with a prayer, and then the lessons begin. We focus heavily on the basics. There’s a lot of emphasis on writing things out by hand. The playground has a few trees that provide shade during the hotter months, which the kids really appreciate. We have a small library, though the books are a bit old and have that specific paper smell. Teachers here have often been with us for years, so they know the families in Thumpamon really well. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, which helps keep the kids in line. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are. It’s a slow-paced but honest way to run a school for the local children.
