Mulamoottil Central School

Mulamoottil Central School is sitting right on Cherukolpuzha Road in Kozhenchery. It’s a well-known spot for the people living in this part of town. The school building is quite large and has been here for a good number of years now. We have a lot of students who come in from all over the Kozhenchery area. The morning routine is always the same, with buses arriving and parents dropping off their children at the front gate. Inside, there are long hallways and plenty of classrooms for everyone. We have a library and some labs, but they’re just basic rooms meant for working. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces. We don't go in for anything too flashy; the focus is just on the daily lessons. There’s a playground where the kids spend their lunch breaks, and it can get pretty loud when they’re all out there. Exams, sports days, and annual functions are handled without much fuss. The office stays busy with parents coming in to ask about admissions or grades. It’s a local institution that has just become part of the background of the town. The rain in Kozhenchery can be quite heavy, so we have a lot of covered walkways to keep everyone dry. The benches in the classrooms are made of heavy wood and have been there for decades. We don’t see any reason to change them. Our staff room is usually full of umbrellas during the monsoon season.
