Tamjeed Agro Private Limited

We are over here in Paschim Medinipur, specifically in Pathar Ghata at Sekh Asraf Ali’s place. It is a quiet spot in Ward No-19 where most people know each other by their first names. Tamjeed Agro started because we saw how much work goes into the fields every day and figured we could organize things a bit better. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and other times it pours so hard the roads get messy. We spend most of our time dealing with the crops and making sure things are moving. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a building where we keep our tools and some of the harvest. We talk to the neighbors about what they are planting and what prices are like. Most of us grew up with dirt under our fingernails, so this kind of work is all we really know. The sun gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break then before getting back to it. It’s hard to keep everything running perfectly, but we try to keep our word when we tell someone we will have their supplies ready. We don’t have a big marketing team. It’s just us doing the daily chores and hoping the season turns out okay. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait it out. That’s just how life is here in the village.
