Tanisha International

Our setup at Tanisha International is located in Shiv Nagar, specifically in the Gandhi Mandi area. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Cold Store, which is a good landmark because you can usually see the big trucks parked around there. The air around here sometimes smells like whatever is being stored in the cold units, which is a bit strange but you get used to it after a week or two. We work out of a modest space where we manage our international dealings. It’s funny because we are doing business with people far away while sitting in a room that still has old calendars on the wall. The floors are a bit dusty because of all the movement in the mandi outside, but we try to keep our working area clean enough. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking from the market, so it’s never really quiet here. We spend a lot of time on the computer or checking labels on packages. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We don’t have a big sign or anything fancy out front, just the address and our work. Most people who come by are just delivery drivers or neighbors, and that suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and get the orders processed as they come in day after day.
