Rama Woollen Industries

You can find us over in Ganga Ram Colony, right near the Kacha Kabri Phatak. It’s a bit of a trek to get back here if you don't know the turns, but it's where we’ve set up shop. The building is mostly just a big open space for the wool processing. It’s dusty work, and there’s always bits of fluff floating in the air. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Most of us are in old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We’ve been working with wool for years, so the smell is just part of the air to us now. It’s a family-run thing, really. My uncle started it, and now I’m here most days making sure the machines are running okay. They’re old machines, so they need a lot of oil and attention. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. We just talk to people face to face. If something isn't right, we fix it. It’s a practical way to live. Some days the rain makes the road outside a real mess, but we still show up. We aren't trying to be the biggest wool place around. We just want to keep the lights on and the work moving. It’s a simple life in a simple colony. We just take things one day at a time and do what needs doing.
