A. M. Tex

A. M. Tex is out at Plot No. 13 in Sector-29, Huda. This part of Huda is mostly industrial plots and textile units, so it is a very busy place to be. We have a good amount of space here, which is necessary because textiles take up a lot of room. There are rolls of fabric stacked up against the walls and sometimes spilling out into the walkways. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and lint. We do not spend much time cleaning it to a shine; we are too busy moving the stock. The building is a simple block structure like the others in Sector-29. Inside, the sound of the machines is pretty steady. It is a lot of manual work, lifting and checking the materials. We have a small corner with a couple of chairs and a table where we eat our lunch and handle the bills. The windows are high up, so we do not see much of the outside, but we can hear the traffic on the main sector road. We have been at Plot No. 13 for a while. It is not a fancy place to look at, just a hardworking textile unit. We wear simple clothes and just focus on getting the orders ready. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to stay late to finish up, but that is just how it goes in this business. We get the work done eventually.
