Angels Public School

Our school, Angels Public School, is situated in Khathuli, which is near the Panjokhra post office in Ambala City. We are in the 134003 zip code area. It is a bit on the outskirts of the main city, so it is not as crowded or noisy as the center of Ambala. We have been here for a good number of years now. The building is a basic structure with several classrooms and a small office area for the records. In the mornings, you can see the students walking down the narrow lanes of Khathuli to get here on time. We have a mix of younger and older children in the building. The teachers are mostly local women from Ambala who know the families around here. We do not have any high-end facilities or fancy equipment, just the rooms, some plastic chairs, and the boards we write on. We spend a lot of time organizing the paper registers and making sure the kids stay on track with their daily work. The small yard out front is where the kids gather for the morning assembly. Sometimes we have to deal with things like a leaky roof or a fan that stops working, and we just fix it as we go. It is a very down-to-earth kind of place. We do not put on any acts for visitors; what you see is what you get every day. It is just a neighborhood school where we do our best.
