Murlidhar Dav Public School

Our school is located right by the Jagadhari Gate in Ambala City, which is a very busy area. It’s an old part of the town and our school building has been standing here for quite a long time now. We have the usual classrooms you would expect and a small office right near the main entrance for visitors. Being in such a central spot means it's almost always crowded nearby, especially when it is a market day. We have a lot of history inside these walls and many generations have passed through here. The hallways can feel a bit narrow when everyone is moving between classes, but we make it work for all the students and staff. We have teachers for all the main subjects and we try to keep the atmosphere inside calm despite all the noise from the street traffic outside. Parents often drop in to see us because they are already in the area for their shopping or their own work. We don't have a massive sports field like some schools, but we use what space we have in the courtyard for the kids to stretch their legs. It’s a local school through and through and we don't try to be anything else. We just want to give the children here a fair start with their education. It takes a lot of effort to keep an old building like this running, but we manage just fine.
