You can find Police D A V Public School right opposite Sector 7 in Ambala City. It sits in a spot that's pretty easy to get to if you're coming from the main parts of Ambala. The school has been part of this community for a good bit of time. It's a large enough building, and since it’s near the city area, there is always some traffic passing by. A gatekeeper watches the entrance and makes sure the kids don't wander out. Inside, the hallways are wide and sometimes a bit loud when the classes change over. No one goes for anything too flashy here. The walls are painted a standard color and we have the usual charts and maps pinned up. Teachers come in early to get their notes ready. During the winter, it gets quite chilly in the rooms, so everyone wears their thick sweaters. The playground out back has grass that grows a bit wild if we don't mow it regularly. People in Sector 7 know us well. Instead of spending money on fancy advertisements, we just let the school exist as a place for learning. Sometimes we have events in the yard, and you can hear the kids shouting and playing from the road. It’s just a normal school day, every day, from Monday to Saturday. The registers stay updated and the bells ring on time for the kids.
