Shakhala Hand Purse & Bag

Our shop is at 110 Jodhpur Road, right near Subash Chouraya. We are very close to the Mill Gate. Shakhala Hand Purse & Bag has been in this neighborhood for a long time. We sell all sorts of bags for women. We have purses, small clutches for parties, and those big bags for carrying everyday things. The shop is small and we have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We often have to use a wooden ladder to reach the bags at the top. Jodhpur Road is always busy and dusty because of all the trucks. We spend a lot of time every morning dusting the glass cases and the bags. We aren't trying to be a fancy boutique. We just sell bags that are useful and look okay. Some have a lot of shiny beads and others are just plain fabric or leather. We know many of the people who live around here. They often stop by just to say hello even if they don't need a new bag. It’s a friendly atmosphere in the shop. We don't use any computers for our bills. We just write everything down on a paper pad. It’s the way we’ve always done it and it works fine for us. We just open up, talk to our neighbors, and sell our bags until it's time to go home.
