You can find us right in the middle of Zarda Bazar at number 51. If you know the bazar, you know it’s always busy, always noisy, and full of different smells and sounds. We’ve been here for a long time, running our operations from this same spot. Our days are mostly spent talking to people who come into the shop, keeping track of our books, and making sure everything is in its right place. It’s a traditional kind of business environment. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, with wooden counters and shelves that have seen better days, but it works for us. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that it’s hard to even walk outside, but that’s just life in Zarda Bazar. We deal with various items depending on the season and what people are looking for. It’s a lot of handshakes and face-to-face talk. We aren't interested in being a big corporation. We just like being part of the local trade and seeing familiar faces every day. When the sun goes down and the market starts to close up, we tidy up the shop and get ready to do it all over again the next day. It’s a steady life, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It is what it is.
