Pitra Aashish Computer sits right in the middle of Rani Partap Bazar. If you know the bazar, you know it is always loud and full of people. Our shop is a bit small, but we make it work. We have shelves all the way to the ceiling filled with parts, keyboards, and old software discs that nobody uses anymore. We spend most of our time at the front counter. People from the market drop by all the time, sometimes just to say hello or ask a quick question about their phone or computer. It is a very social place. We don't have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that wobbles a little. In the summer, it gets quite warm, so we keep the door open. Rani Partap Bazar has a lot of energy and we like being part of that. We handle repairs mostly. People bring in things that look like they've been through a lot. We do what we can to fix them up. There is no corporate dress code here; we just wear whatever is comfortable for crawling under desks to check wires. We keep a logbook of all the jobs we do. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things but it has served us well for years. We are just a local shop trying to help the folks in the bazar with their gadgets.
