Omkar Singh Charan

I’ve been living and working here at Jai Narayan Vyas Colony 24 on Kachehari Road for quite some time. My name is Omkar Singh Charan. This isn't really a big company with a board of directors or anything like that. It’s just me handling my business from this address. The colony is usually pretty quiet, which I like. My office is just a room in the house where I keep all my papers and books. People come here when they need my help with various things. Kachehari Road is a well-known area, so finding the place isn't too difficult for most folks. I’ve always preferred working this way, face to face with people without a bunch of middlemen. The furniture is a bit old and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but it’s home. I don't have a receptionist. If the door is open, you can just knock and come in. I’ve built a reputation around here just by being consistent. It’s not about being the biggest or the most famous. It’s just about doing the work that needs to be done every day. I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but I’ve stayed right here at number 24. Most of my visitors are people I’ve known for a long time. It’s a very personal way of doing things, and I wouldn't have it any other way than this.
