Mahendra Choudhray

My name is Mahendra Choudhray and you can find me in Sojat City at Kakaria Bera. It’s a small place but it’s where I do all my work. I’ve been around this area for a long time and everyone knows where Kakaria Bera is. The building is simple, just stone and brick, which stays somewhat cool when the Rajasthan sun is beating down on us in the summer. I don’t have a big team of people, it’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers who know the trade. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. There’s a lot of dust because of the location, so I’m always wiping down my table. I don’t use much technology besides my phone to call people and keep things moving along. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t from around town, but the locals don’t mind. I usually keep the door open so a breeze can come through, even if it brings a bit of sand with it. I didn’t want a fancy office in the middle of a big city. This place suits me just fine because I can be close to the work and see what’s happening on the ground. It’s a practical way to live and I’ve built a decent life for myself just by being consistent every single day and making sure things get done.
