Our spot is out in Virar West, specifically in the Agashi area. We’re in a place called Sneh, over in Chalpeth. It’s a bit different from the center of the city, much more of a local neighborhood feel here in 401301. Viva Shahapur Land Developers Llp is what’s written on our documents. Most days start pretty early because that’s just the way life is in Thane. The air feels a little bit fresher being towards the coast. We aren't in some big corporate park; it’s just a regular building where we do our business. You might see some of the local kids playing nearby or people heading to the temple. It’s quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think, which is nice for a change. We have our desks set up and we spend the hours going through maps and papers. Sometimes the electricity goes for a bit, so we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a very grounded sort of existence here. People in Agashi are mostly friendly and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place over the years. We keep our office pretty simple because we don't need much else to get the job done. It’s just a small team of us working out of this space in Virar. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but it’s where everything happens for us.
