Our shop is tucked away behind the McDonald's in Evershine City, over in Vasai East. Being in the Houston E C building means we see a lot of the same faces every single day. It is a lively part of Thane, and there is always something happening outside on the street. We usually start the morning by checking our supplies and making sure the mirrors are clean for the first person who arrives. The walk from the main road isn't very long, but during the monsoon months, it can get a bit messy around the entrance. We have been in this spot for a while, and most of the neighbors in the building know us by name now. It is a small team here, just a few of us trying to keep the place running. We don't really go for anything too flashy or decorative. The shop has its own little quirks, like that one chair that squeaks when you adjust it or the way the sunlight hits the front window in the late afternoon. We spend most of our time focusing on the people who walk through the door, whether they want a haircut or just some help with their skin. It is a practical space for practical work. We keep the kettle going for tea during our short breaks, and there is usually some music playing quietly in the background. Vasai East is a busy place to work, but we like being right in the middle of it.
