A-One Hair Cutting Salon

We are tucked away in Shop Number 3 at Shivam Apartment. If you know the Central Park Road area in Nalasopara East, you have probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need for the business. We are right across from the Swami Narayan Mandir, so we hear the temple sounds all day, which is actually quite nice when things get busy. It is mostly just local guys coming in for a quick trim or a shave before they head off to work. Sometimes the wait gets a bit long on Sundays because everyone decides to show up at once after their breakfast. We have these old chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute cut. My brother and I run the place mostly. We keep the fans going at full speed because it gets really hot in this part of Thane. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but that is just life here. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the glass. People know where we are. We usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background while we work. It is a simple life, cutting hair and talking about the weather or whatever is happening in the news. We try to keep the floor swept, but hair gets everywhere pretty fast. It has been our spot for years now.
