Chetna Beauty Saloon

Our little shop is tucked away on the first floor of Trimurti Apartment, over in the B Wing. We are right on the MTNL Road, so it is pretty easy to find if you are near the MTNL office in Mira Road East. The space we have isn’t very large, but we’ve managed to fit in enough chairs and mirrors to keep things moving. Most of the women who visit us live in the nearby buildings and have been coming here for years. It gets pretty loud in here when all the hair dryers are going at the same time and everyone is talking over them. We spend most of our day standing up, which can be a bit tiring for the legs. Often, we make a cup of tea and then it sits there and gets cold because someone walked in for a quick threading or a hair cut. That’s just part of how it goes. The morning light is actually quite nice through the windows, even if the view is just the busy street below. We handle the usual stuff like cuts, colors, and facials without making a big deal out of it. It’s not a fancy corporate spa with soft music and dim lights. It is just a local place where you can come in, have a chat, and get your hair done. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but people don't seem to mind much.
