G.K. Wanvari Arrchitects. Santacruz

G.K. Wanvari Architects has its main workspace over in Thane, even though we have strong ties to Santacruz. We are located in Sheetal Nagar, specifically in the Sheetal Asheesh 2 building. Our office is in apartment G 204. It is a residential area, which is actually quite nice because it provides a bit of quiet when we are trying to focus on our architectural drawings. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints, rolls of tracing paper, and various scale models sitting around. We have a few computers for the CAD work, but we still like to do some things the old-fashioned way with pencils and rulers. Architecture is a slow process that requires a lot of patience. We spend many hours going over the fine details of a building plan to make sure everything is just right. We are not a big, flashy firm with a lot of marketing. Most of our clients come to us through referrals or because they have seen our previous work. Thane is a busy place, and getting to site visits in Santacruz or other parts of the city can take a long time. We just manage our schedule as best as we can. It is a very practical, hands-on business. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe our designs. We just aim to create plans that work well for the people who will live or work in those spaces.
