You can find us in Thane at Shruti Apartment, specifically in flats 401 and 402. It is a bit unusual because it feels more like a home than a strict business space, but that is just how we like it. Working out of an apartment building means we get to know the neighbors and the security guards pretty well. We have converted the rooms into workspaces, so there are desks where the beds used to be. It can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The kitchen area is mostly used for storing files and making endless rounds of tea. We have a nice view from the fourth floor, even if it is just looking at other apartment blocks and the busy streets below. The elevator is sometimes slow, so some of us just take the stairs for the exercise. It’s a quiet building for the most part, which helps when we need to concentrate on our drawings and reports. We don't have a big logo on the door, just a small nameplate. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We don't wear formal clothes unless there is a very specific reason to do so. Mostly, we just sit in our chairs and get through the day's list of things to do. It’s a comfortable place to work without all the pressure of a big corporate office building.
