Susumo Engineering

Our office is located at 303 in Building B 64 of Shanti Nagar. This is in Sector 5 on Mira Road, which is a very crowded part of the Thane area. The building is one of those typical ones you see everywhere in Maharashtra. The lift is sometimes slow, so we often just take the stairs to the third floor. Inside, the space is packed with tools, manuals, and computer screens. It feels a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time. There is a lot of noise from the street outside because Mira Road never really sleeps. We have a lot of tea and biscuits while we work through technical problems. The walls are covered with some old calendars and a few notes taped up. We don't have any fancy decorations or art on the walls. Our focus is usually on the engineering tasks at hand. It can get a bit stressful when deadlines are close, but we manage. The commute for most of us involves the local trains, which is an experience in itself. By the time we get to the office, we are ready to sit down and start. We have a small balcony where we sometimes stand for a few minutes to get some air. It’s a practical workspace for people who like to get their hands dirty with real work. That's just us.
