Contech Engineers

We are based at 704 Dev Ashirwad Co Op Scy. It is in Laxmi Park, over in Naya Nager, Mira Road. Mumbai is always so loud, but inside the office, it is mostly just the sound of the fans and someone typing. Our spot is on the seventh floor. The lift works most days, which is good because walking up seven floors in this heat isn't something anyone wants to do. Looking out the window, you can see a lot of other buildings. Laxmi Park has changed a lot over the years. We’ve been here for a while now. The space isn't huge, but we have our desks set up and there is enough room for the files. Sometimes the tea man comes around and we take a break. It's just a normal workplace, really. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the Mira Road traffic, but once you're inside, it's fine. We have some plants on the windowsill that we try to keep alive, though they look a bit sad sometimes. Most of the day is just spent doing the work that needs to get done. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. It’s just wooden tables and some old chairs that squeak when you move. People usually bring their lunch from home and eat together. It’s a simple setup we have here at Contech Engineers and we like it that way because it is quiet and we can focus.
