We’re out at Plot No. C-7 in the MIDC section of Boisar. The address mentions Farms Road and Chandivali too, which is just how things are labeled around here. It’s a big area in Tarapur. Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited has a lot going on at this site. It’s a large plot, so there’s plenty of room for all the machines and the storage. It’s an industrial vibe, for sure. You won't find any plush carpets here. The floors are concrete and the ceilings are high. We have a lot of people coming in for different shifts. It’s a constant cycle of work. The noise of the machinery is just part of the atmosphere. We don't think about it much anymore. Sometimes the dust gets kicked up from the road, but that’s normal for this part of Boisar. We have our own way of doing things. It’s not a corporate office where everyone wears suits. We wear what’s practical for the job. The sun beats down on the roof during the day, so it stays pretty warm inside. We focus on getting the production numbers right. There’s no need for big speeches or fancy mottos. We just see what needs to be made and we make it. It’s a big operation but we try to keep it simple. We’ve been here a long time and know the rhythm of the machines. Most of us just get on with it without needing much supervision.
