Pink Dragon

You can find us over at Indraprastha, Shop No. 1 in Sheetal Nagar, which is in Mira Road East. It’s a small shop, not one of those big places with twenty waiters running around. Being in Sheetal Nagar, we get a lot of people who live in the buildings nearby just walking over. We’ve been here for a bit now and the 401107 area is where we spend all our time. The shop itself is tucked into the corner of the building. Sometimes the address gets a bit confusing for people because there are so many shops, but we are right there at number one. We do all the cooking and cleaning ourselves mostly. Mira Road can be a really busy place, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and the streets get narrow with all the rickshaws and people. We just keep the kitchen going and try to get the orders out as they come in. It’s a lot of work and some days are better than others. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just open the shutters in the morning, prep the ingredients, and stay until we close up at night. The place is basic, just some chairs and the cooking area, but it works for us. It’s just a regular neighborhood spot where we know a lot of the faces that come through the door.
