If you head out to Palghar, you’ll find us in the Shalimar Industrial Estate-2. We are in Gala Number D/9 in the Wakanpada area. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s pretty noisy and dusty most of the time. We work with clothes and apparel. The space is basically a big workshop where we get things made and packed. It’s not a fancy office with carpets and air conditioning in every corner. It’s more of a boots-on-the-ground kind of place. We spend our days checking seams and making sure the sizes are right. Palghar is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it works for us because we have the space we need here. There are a lot of other small factories around us, so there is always something going on in the lane. We’ve got a group of workers who have been with us for a bit. We just try to get the orders out as they come in. Sometimes we’re working late to finish a batch. The lunch breaks are usually spent sitting outside if the weather is okay. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just do the sewing and the shipping. It’s straightforward work. We like the fact that we’re actually making something you can touch and wear. The machinery needs regular oiling and sometimes a machine breaks down, which slows us down, but we fix it and keep moving. We stay busy every day.
