We've been here at Gala No. 134/135 in the Parmar Industrial Complex for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, always something going on with the machines and the tools we handle. Most days, you’ll find us busy with orders or just organizing the shelves so we can find things faster. My brother and I started this because we knew our way around toolings. It wasn’t a big plan, just a way to make a living doing what we know. The complex gets crowded in the mornings, especially near our unit, but we managed to get two galas next to each other to have enough space. People come by looking for specific parts for their workshops. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk tucked in the corner behind some crates. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, other times we are just quietly working on a lathe. We try to keep things straightforward. If someone needs a tool, we look for it. If we don’t have it, we say so. It’s better that way. The floor gets a bit dusty with all the metal work, but that’s just how a machine shop is. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in this building, but we’re still here, doing the same work we did on day one. It is a lot of manual labor and long hours, but it keeps us going and we don't mind the noise.
