Adam Export ( Andheri)

Adam Export (Andheri) is actually located in Mira Road (East) now. We are at D-83, Flat-304, in Section 9 of Shanti Nagar. I know the name says Andheri, but Mira Road is where the actual office is these days. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty calm compared to the middle of Mumbai. Being on the third floor of the building means we have a bit of a breeze coming through. We do a lot of exporting work from here. The flat is filled with boxes, packing tape, and lots of shipping forms. It’s not a fancy warehouse; it’s just where we manage everything. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs and shipping agents. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all the packages, but we’ve been here long enough that they just wave now. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big staff or a human resources department. It’s just a couple of us making sure everything gets to where it’s supposed to go. We usually work late into the evening because of the time differences with other countries. We don’t have fancy furniture or a reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably have to move a box just to find a place to sit. It’s just a practical, local business running out of Shanti Nagar. We like the independence of working this way.
