Ingrown Agri Producer Company Limited

Ingrown Agri Producer Company Limited is based out here in Plassanal. Our office is at 8/4 Mannoorettonnil, which is the place of Joe M Philip. We are in the Erattupetta area of Kottayam. It’s a very green part of the country, which makes sense for an agri company. We mostly deal with the local farmers who are part of our producer group. It’s a collective effort to make sure we get fair prices and keep the farms running. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old wooden tables and chairs where we sit and discuss the latest harvest. It can get pretty humid in Kottayam, so we usually have the windows open. We don't have a lot of fancy technology. Most things are still done with pen and paper and a lot of talking. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We all know each other around Plassanal. When someone has a problem with their crops, they just come over to the office. We try to help out where we can. It’s not about making huge profits for some board of directors. It’s just about keeping our local agriculture going. We are just regular people who happen to run a producer company together. It’s hard work, but being close to the soil makes it feel right for us. We just keep at it.
