We are based out of Harapur in the Fareda Tehsil area. Taraibuddha Kisan Producer Company Limited operates from House Number 56 here. It’s a quiet village and most of us have been farming these lands for a long time. This company started because we realized that doing everything alone was getting too expensive and difficult. Now we use the house as a central spot to organize. It’s where we keep our records and meet with other farmers from the neighborhood. It isn't a very large space but it serves its purpose for our meetings. Harapur is home to a lot of families who rely on the soil. We spend our days out in the fields and then come back to the office to handle the business side of things. It’s a lot of writing things down and making phone calls to suppliers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, but that’s just how it is. We try to get the best out of what we grow. There isn't any big secret to what we do. It’s just local people working together so we can stay afloat. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just want to make sure the crops get sold and everyone gets their fair share. Dealing with the markets is tough, so having this group helps a little bit.
