You can find us at house number 175 in Tusaini. This is deep in the Mewat region, specifically the 122508 area. The Sahchokha Farmers Producer Companylimited started because a bunch of us in the village realized we should probably work together instead of everyone doing their own thing separately. Mewat is a unique place with its own rhythm. Life in Tusaini revolves around the seasons and what the ground is giving us. Our office is just a room in a house where we keep our registers and talk about the harvest. We don't use any big words or have a fancy board of directors. We are just farmers. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get things sorted at the government offices, but mostly we stay here in the village. The name Sahchokha has a local feel to it, which is why we liked it. When the harvest comes, the whole place gets very busy and you won’t find many of us sitting in the office at number 175. We will be out there in the fields. It is hard work and the sun in Mewat does not show much mercy in the summer months. We just try to help each other out with the seeds and the selling part. It is a basic operation but it works for us. We are just regular people living our lives and trying to keep the farming tradition going in Tusaini. It is a long road but we are okay with it.
