Uncleji Namkeen

You can find Uncleji Namkeen at Plot No.1/66A, Block-E, Sector-11 in Rohini. It’s a typical industrial-residential mix area. We have been here for quite some time. The smell of the snacks usually fills the air around our unit. It’s a busy place. I usually get in early to check on the batches. Rohini can be quite crowded, especially during the market hours. Our space is functional. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. Uncleji Namkeen is a local name and we take it seriously. The floors are always being cleaned because of the flour and oil. It’s hard work but it’s what we do. Some of the machines are old but they work fine. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together sometimes. The heat from the kitchen area makes the whole place warm in the summer. We just put on the fans and keep going. Sector-11 is a good location for us. We get our supplies from the nearby markets. It’s not a polished corporate office, it’s a place where things are made. I usually have a lot of tea to keep me going through the afternoon. It’s a simple business, really. We just make our namkeen and send it out. People seem to like it and that is enough for us. I check the packaging before anything leaves the gate.
