Radhey Shyam Rishi Pal

We have been here at 308/14 in Shahzada Bagh for quite a long time now. Most people know the shop because we are right opposite the Daya Basti Railway Station, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and noise from the trains passing by. Radhey Shyam Rishi Pal is the name we use, but most folks just stop in to see what we have in stock. It is a bit dusty around this part of town with all the coal and engines, but we keep the place running every day. We handle a bit of everything, mostly items that the local workers and residents need for their daily tasks. The shop itself is not fancy at all. We have wooden shelves stacked all the way to the ceiling and sometimes it takes a bit of time to find exactly what a customer is looking for. My family started this business years ago and I just took over to keep things moving along. You get to hear a lot of interesting stories from the people who come in after getting off the train. We do not bother with big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth from the neighbors has always been enough for us. Sometimes when the power goes out, we just sit on the bench outside and wait for it to come back. That is just how life goes here. We are usually busy with basic paperwork or checking the inventory. We do not have any fancy website. We just stay here and do the work.
