Trik Chocolates

We are based over in Saket and have been here for a little while now. It is a nice area with a lot of people walking around and shopping. We started Trik Chocolates because we just liked making things with our hands. It is not a massive factory or anything like that, just a small setup where we handle everything ourselves. Chocolate is a very tricky thing to work with, especially when the weather in Delhi gets really hot like it does in the summer. We have to keep the cooling running all the time or everything would just melt into a puddle. We spend a lot of time experimenting with different bits and pieces to put inside the bars. Some days are better than others in the kitchen. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out right and we have to throw it out and start over. It is just part of the process of learning. Saket has a lot of competition, but we just do our own thing and don't worry about it too much. We don't really go for the flashy packaging you see in the big malls. We prefer keeping it simple and honest. Most of our customers are locals who found us by word of mouth from their friends. It is rewarding when someone comes back and tells us they really enjoyed what they bought. We are just a few people trying to make something decent. It is quiet work for the most part and we like it.
