Rakesh Namkeen Bhandar

Tri Nagar Tota Ram Bazar 2732 is almost always packed with people moving in every direction. Our shop, Rakesh Namkeen Bhandar, is located right in that spot. If you know this area at all, then you know how narrow the lanes can get. It is a real squeeze for the rickshaws and the shoppers. We have got bags and jars of namkeen stacked up high on the shelves. It is what our family has always done. The bazar has a lot of energy, but it can be very exhausting too. You often have to shout just to be heard over the noise of the traffic and the other sellers. We are not some big corporation with a board of directors. We are just a family-run bhandar. The walls at 2732 are old and they could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about things like that. People come in for their regular snacks and we chat for a second and then they move on. That is just the way the day goes. Tri Nagar is a very busy part of Delhi, and Tota Ram Bazar is right in the heart of the noise. We do not have a fancy logo or some big marketing plan. We just open up the metal shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. It is a simple life in a crowded market.
