You can find Raj Industies in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. We are on the first floor of building number 28/4. This part of Delhi is always buzzing with the sound of machinery and trucks moving in and out at all hours. It’s a tough, working-class neighborhood, and our office fits right in with that vibe. To get to us, you have to head up a narrow set of stairs that can be a bit dark if the bulbs aren't working. Once you’re inside, it’s all about the work. We manufacture things here, so there is often a bit of grease and metal dust around. It isn't the kind of place where you’d wear a suit and tie. We’ve got machines running and people coordinating deliveries all day long. The air is thick with the smell of industry, which we don't even notice anymore. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or checking on the production floor to see how orders are coming along. Lunch is usually something quick brought from home or bought from a local vendor downstairs. The Wazirpur area is a maze, but we have been here long enough to know every corner and every shortcut. It gets really hot in the summer, and the fans barely do anything, but we keep pushing through the orders. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and find whoever is available to talk.
