You can find us at F-1836, which is right in the heart of the D.S.I.D.C. Industrial Park in Narela. Asg Exim Co. isn’t a huge operation, but we stay busy enough. The building is one of those sturdy, functional types you see all over this part of town. We spend a lot of our time dealing with crates and pallets. The air in the industrial park always smells a bit like diesel and dust, which is something you just stop noticing after a week of working here. Inside our unit, it's mostly stacks of inventory waiting to go somewhere else. We keep a small office area near the front, but most of the action happens in the back. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the big shutters open to get a breeze. It’s mostly about logistics and keeping track of where things are. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a receptionist. Usually, if the bell rings, it’s just a driver with a delivery or someone looking for directions to another block. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring units for years. We trade stories over tea when things slow down. It’s a simple way to make a living, just keeping things moving through the supply chain. Sometimes we have to use flashlights if we're looking for something in the very back of the storage area. It's just part of the routine here. We’ve been here long enough that the pavement feels familiar. It’s just work, and we do it every day.
