Pearl Lighting is located at Ag-24 on the Ring Road in Shalimar Bagh. Being on the Ring Road means we are right in the thick of Delhi’s constant traffic. It’s never really quiet here, but you sort of stop noticing the horns after a while. Our building is pretty easy to spot if you’re looking for the address. We work with lighting, so the place is usually pretty bright, though the back areas are more for storage and packing. It’s a lot of moving boxes and checking inventory lists. We aren't a big corporate giant; we are more of a tight-knit group of people who have been working together for quite some time. We don't have any fancy signs or slogans on the walls. Most of the walls are covered in shelves or old calendars. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the mood light, even when we have a lot of orders to get through. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in the Ring Road traffic, which can be frustrating, but we just deal with it. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. If someone needs to know something, they just come over and ask. It’s a very direct way of working. Shalimar Bagh is a good area to be in, and we’ve settled into our spot here quite nicely. We just do our work and head home like everyone else.
