New Crockery Emporium

New Crockery Emporium is located at Pitampura F-1/U/34, and if you walked in right now, you’d probably see us carefully unwrapping a new crate of plates or glasses. It’s a delicate job because everything we handle can break so easily if we aren’t paying attention. The shop isn’t huge, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have, stacking bowls and sets right up to the ceiling sometimes. We spend a lot of time dusting things off because even in Pitampura, the city grime finds its way onto the shiny surfaces. People stop by looking for a replacement for a broken cup or maybe something new for their kitchen, and we just show them where things are. There is no fancy sales pitch here, just a lot of bubble wrap and boxes everywhere. Some days are slow and we just sit and listen to the radio, while other days are a bit of a mess with people asking for prices and checking for cracks. We try to keep the F-1/U/34 spot organized, but it’s hard when new shipments arrive and there’s nowhere to put them. It’s just how it is when you run a shop like this. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we all just do our own thing. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and making sure nothing chips, but it keeps us busy.
