Master Tea Company

You can find us at Plot No.E-1/235 in Sector 11, Rohini. We are located quite close to the Garg Trade Centre, which is a big landmark around here. The whole area smells like tea leaves most of the time because we are always opening up sacks. We spend a lot of our day sorting through different batches and getting things ready. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags and moving them to the back. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a small table where we sit and taste different samples throughout the afternoon. It is not a corporate setup at all. There are just a few of us working here in Rohini. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our little spot stays mostly the same. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in the narrow lane near the trade centre. We just wait it out. There is always something to do, whether it’s cleaning the bins or checking the weights. We don’t have fancy machines for everything, so we do a lot by hand. Master Tea Company has been sitting right here in Sector 11 for a long time now and we just keep at it.
