Our place, M S Marbel & Granite Co. Pvt. Ltd., is located at 28 Rajasthani Udyog Nagar in Delhi-33. It’s more of a yard and warehouse than a typical office. We deal with heavy stone, mostly marble and granite slabs. Because of that, the whole area is usually covered in a bit of stone dust. It’s a tough, physical job moving these pieces around. We have some machinery for cutting and polishing, but it’s still a lot of manual labor. We’ve been in this industrial area for quite a while now. We don't really go for the polished corporate look. Our office is just a small room at the front where we keep the logs and take payments. Most of the action happens out in the yard. We get trucks coming in with raw stone and leaving with finished pieces all day long. It can get pretty noisy with the saws running. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just show customers the different slabs we have and let them pick what they like. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but we’ve got a good crew that knows what they’re doing. We don't have a marketing team or anything. People just find us through recommendations or by driving through the industrial estate. It’s a basic, honest business built on heavy lifting and steady work every day.
