Gupta Marble & Granites

We’ve been running the shop here at D-209 in Pundrik Vihar for a good while now. Pitam Pura is a busy place, and our yard usually has a fair bit of dust on everything because that's just how it goes with stone. People come in looking for something specific for their kitchen or maybe a bathroom floor, and we just show them what’s currently sitting in the racks. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights or anything like that. Most days it is just us moving slabs around and talking to contractors who need stuff delivered to sites nearby. We keep a mix of granite and different types of marble. Sometimes the colors vary from what people saw last week, but that is the nature of natural stone. You can't really control how the mountain made it. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking on shipments or helping someone figure out how many square feet they actually need for their project. It’s hard work, heavy lifting mostly, and our boots are always gray from the stone dust. We don’t really do much advertising. Most folks just walk in because they live around here or someone told them we had a decent selection of slabs. If you stop by, you’ll probably find one of us sitting at the small desk in the corner. We try to keep things simple and just get the stone out to where it needs to go without too much fuss. It's just a regular local business run by regular people.
