Krishan Sweet House & Pastry Shop

Krishan Sweet House & Pastry Shop is over in Rohini, specifically in Avantika Sector 2 at B 1033/34. It’s a bit of a mix here because we have the traditional Indian sweets on one side and then cakes and pastries on the other. This means we have to deal with different kinds of ovens and fridges all day long. The shop is located in a residential part of Rohini, so we see a lot of the same families every week. When it’s someone’s birthday in the neighborhood, they usually end up here for a cake. We don't have any corporate training or polished scripts. We just talk to people normally and help them find what they want. The glass on the pastry case always seems to get fingerprints on it, no matter how many times we wipe it. In the mornings, we are busy arranging the fresh batches of sweets and making sure the cream for the pastries is ready. The B 1033/34 building is a familiar sight for anyone living in Avantika. We’ve got some stools for people who want to eat right there, but most folks just take their stuff to go. It’s a busy life keeping both sides of the shop running, but we’ve gotten used to the pace over the years. It's just our little corner in Sector 2 where we spend our days. The fridge makes a low humming sound.
